APG has developed unique materials and processes for fuel processing, catalytic combustion, exhaust clean up, and gas separation. Select products from this page to learn more about they might solve your
technology needs.
Our fuel processors convert liquid fuels to
hydrogen-rich gas for use in fuel cells. They also remove sulfur using a patented
absorbent process to clean liquid fuel prior to reforming or combustion. A
stand-alone liquid fuel Desulfurizer is also available.
Use of APG’s catalytic combustion technology enables the safe and efficient combustion of military fuels in military kitchen appliances and soldier personal heaters, reducing fuel demand and improving soldier comfort.
Particulate matter, or soot, is a hazardous air pollutant and has been linked to poor respiratory health. Soot can be eliminated from vehicle engine exhaust and other combustion processes using APG’s novel catalysts formed into exhaust system filters.
Advanced research at APG is exploring ways of: improving engine performance by hydrogen injection, storing hydrogen in canisters for later use, and selectively separating steam, hydrogen and oxygen from gas streams. Advanced materials research continues to expand APG’s market focus and provide a basis for new products.
