Aspen Products Group, Inc. (APG) is a recognized leader in the technology of reforming petroleum based fuels into a hydrogen-rich gas usable in fuel cell systems. While many developers have focused on natural gas and other simple hydrocarbons as primary fuels, APG has recognized the strategic importance of reforming conventional petroleum fuels as they will dominate the energy market for many years to come. APG’s vision is to become a worldwide supplier of fuel processing equipment (reformers and sulfur removal devices), serving producers of fuel cell power systems. APG’s fuel processors have demonstrated the ability to convert commercial diesel fuels containing up to 0.05% sulfur into usable fuel cell gases. Prototype fuel processors designed to integrate within military fuel cell systems will convert logistic fuels, retaining the military’s one-fuel logistic policy. To facilitate commercialization, APG is forming strategic alliances with major fuel cell manufacturers for the development, manufacturing, sale and support of petroleum fuel products in stationary, portable and transportation markets.
